In an increasingly globalized and innovation-driven world, design not only contributes to the creation of exceptional products and services but also acts as a differentiator and driver of efficiency. The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) presents significant challenges for industrial designers and specialists of all kinds. This article will explore the importance of design today, with special attention to the role of industrial designers in the context of AI, and will also present three prominent examples of product design that have influenced the development of global companies.<\/p>\n<p>Design as a Driver of Competitiveness Design plays a fundamental role in a company&#8217;s ability to compete effectively in the market. The report states that design contributes \u00a3275 billion to the UK economy and supports 2.8 million jobs, illustrating how a strong design culture can drive national productivity (Design Council, 2018).<\/p>\n<p>Advantages of Design in Contemporary Organizations Design brings numerous advantages to a company in its competition with others in the market. These advantages can range from product differentiation to improving operational efficiency.
